RE-DO

Ok.. SO I screwed up! I failed at the 5 day pouch test on the first day!
My brother talked me into go to Margaritas Mexican restaurant.. my biggest down fall!! So I went!

I thought well Dumb dumb.. don't start in the middle of the week!
I decided to start today!!!

Hello! I am here.. so far so good.. No problems and no cheating! YEAH ME! ok, fine its only 11am!! but whatever!!

I did try a new protein drink this morning and I LOVED IT!... For those of you that do not know.. I HATE PROTEIN DRINKS!

Its called SPIRU-TEIN.. I got it at Hy-vee.. comes in great flavors!! Like 10 different ones!
This morning I had the Chi-Tea one, and It was great because I could drink it warm!! I don't like coffee but it feels so good to drink the morning to keep me warm.. well this is better for me!!! 14g or protein..
I will try to update later.. PRAY I STAY ON TRACK!

5 Day Pouch Test!

I Have decided to do the 5 day pouch test!! for those of you who don't know what that is.. check it out at www.5daypouchtest.com.. if that's not right, then just google it!! Its pretty neat for the people who think they might have stretched their stomach out or think that they don't have restriction.. I got a fill last week and I just don't feel like I am getting the restriction that I want or need.. and I think its just me.. So I am doing this test to check myself! Its a good kick start to eating right again.. BECAUSE I DO NOT EAT LIKE I SHOULD!
Today is day one.. I am kind of suffering, but its so mental!
I will try to keep you updated.
most results are 5-10 # weight loss, in 5 days!! YEAH.. go ME!

Here is the diet:

Days One & Two: Liquid Protein low-carb protein shakes, broth, clear or cream soups, sugar-free gelatin and pudding. Read more.

Day 3: Soft Protein canned fish (tuna or salmon) eggs, fresh soft fish (tilapia, sole, orange roughy. Read more.

Day 4: Firm Protein ground meat (turkey, beef, chicken, lamb), shellfish, scallops, lobster, fresh salmon or halibut. Read more.

Day 5: Solid Protein white meat poultry, beef steak, pork, lamb, wild gameRead more.

I am still here








Good morning Friends!
I am still here....
Band life has been kind of quiet!
I got an unfill in July.. I want to say around the 10th..
Because For some reason the sucker just tightened up like crazy on me! So I had 4cc removed..
I went Yesterday and saw Dr. Malley I got a fill.. 3cc!! Let see how that does.
I was surprised. I only gained 8 lbs in a month and a few days.. I thought that was pretty good for being unfilled to almost empty!
I have not felt much restriction today from the fill, we will see what happens, I have not tried to eat much yet.
I hope everyone in my band world is doing great!!!! Keep me updated
I love reading every ones blogs! I just can't keep up with mine.. I wish I could.

Good Morning!



Hello ALL!!!!




Its so True.. It seems like after the first year of getting banded, people seem to fall off their Blog.. I mean, I forget to write on here all the time.. I alway read all of my favorite blogs, but fail to update mine.


I guess I don't have much to update, besides the fact that I am still around the same weight, I have held the weight of 150-155 for over a year now.. I did jump up to almost 160 right before I got my gallbladder removed. Then During that horriable week I dropped to 142.. (ALL WATER). I very quickly gained that back and the scale teeters between 148-150. I am very happy with that! I love the way I look with my clothes on but when It comes to putting on a swimsuit, I think uhhhh!!! Not likeing the legs much.. Oh well I am 100lbs lighter so I can't complain, right?




I have a NSV, (i think) I am not sure how to take it.. But for me it kind of felt good and bad in the same time.


I had a patient today at work tell me that I looked much better "Fat". How would you take that?


I mean in one way its like WOW! I have never ever heard that, and then in another way its like, hmmm do I really look sick?


He said he is worried about me and that It looks like I just am not eating. I wanted to say "dude, you have not seem me with my real clothes on and not these huge fat making scrubs on."


I explained to him that I juts had my gallbladder out and I did loose a lot of weight from that, but I am "trying" to gain that back (Yeah right!)


He has known me though the whole band process and Knows that I do have the band.

Bye Bye GallBladder

Good Morning!!
Welcome to the land of Boring Katie!!

Ok, last Monday May 3rd. I thought I was having a MASSIVE heart attack... I went to the ER and was having a GallBladder Attack!! for those of you that have not experienced this yet.. I DO NOT WISH THIS UPON YOU!!! It about killed me! I had it removed the next morning! Now I am off work until the 20th.. and I am in complete Boredom! The plus would be that I have lost 14lbs in one week.. I know that is not good at all! Trust me I don't like it!

Well I don't have much to say, just that this sux!! anyways! I will talk to you all later!

Hurtin'

So I have noticed that my blog is pretty boring compared to some of the others that I read.. I really don't know how to do this Fancy blog stuff, I need to spend some time and look around and figure it out!

Does anyone even read it?? Oh well if not I am still going to write!

This is my 3rd week of re-boot book camp...AHHHHHHH that's all I have to say! I love this class, and I love the girls in the class, we have fun while totally cussing and going crazy on those last reps of lift and squats and whatever else Gloria has in store for us!

Tonight I am excited to see what she has "added" to the grove!

As far as weight loss, I feel I have lost a bit... From my scale it shows that I have lost about 4lbs since I have started.. I am a horrible water drinker, I don't get enough water in one day..That's my own fault, I just don't like to sit and sip on water!! I don't really drink anything... I don't even like pop all that much! Strange.. I know. Although I did try some DIET Sunkist Lemonade today, and it was good! I might have to start drinking that!

I can't wait until summer! It just wont come fast enough! We are getting season tickets to Worlds of fun and Oceans of fun. (our water and amusement park). I hate water parks.. or should I say I use to hate water parks, Just something about walking around all day on HOT pavement with burning feet and of course those nasty legs jiggling as I walk through the park, does not sound too appetizing, but after Gloria is finished with me I should be one hot mama at the water park!! HA HA!

OK, enough of my ramblings, I better get busy so I can make it to class on time!!

Happy Monday!!!

Well Today will start Week 2 of my re-boot!!!

Gloria is my trainer, She is kicking my ASS! Last week I could not walk and this weekend I could not poop, (my stomach muscles hurt too bad)! She had us do 360 crunches Friday, and from what I hear that is nothing compared to what we will be doing!! This is a 6 week program, Monday-Wednesday-Friday.. She is amazing. I have never had someone push me this hard, and I need it!!!

I look forward to going.. I have also met some really neat girls! We all have different stories and I love listening to them.. (Hi Brandi.. I think you are probably reading so I thought I would say Hi!) LOL...

Well Girls lets kick it up high tonight and get those heart rates up!!!
My target rate is 154-164.. I have made it to 183!! ahhhh

I forgot to add about my weight.. Well I have not moved up or down. 159 was what she weighed me in at on Monday. She also did measurements.. I will try to update on my progress!!

Starting Fresh

Ok.. I have been bad!! I got an unfill in September.. I got a little out of hand over the holidays.. When I got my unfill I weighed 142... Well yesterday I went and got a much needed fill!! The weigh in was devastating but I expected it!!! I just have been really bad.. The night before I ate a 6inch sub!! AHHHHHH.. Ok ok. I weighed 162. So I got 1.8cc put back in. I am still trying liquids at this point to ease back into the "band" life.. I need to practice for a couple of days. I will keep you all up to date on how I am doing!!!
